Just curious to see what you guys think.
I put Enterprise b/c I heard there was an episode where they encountered some borg offshoot or something, didn't see it though.

I tell ya, it's a shame they never could show the Borg fighting the Dominion... It'll never happen, but that could be a premise for a DS9 movie.

Nice Jan  LOL . Personally I like TNG because the Borg seemed impressive, scary, and inevitable (at least as far as I remember)

In Enterpise they encounter borg from the sphere Picard destroyed during firstcontact, t=they steal and asimulat a transport vessel, and then the enterpie has to stop them, before they exceeds it warp speed.

However they trimiste a message to the borg, the reason the borg actuall, heade toward the alpha quadrund.

and I chose Voyager, it has the best information about them.

I'm split between TNG and VOY. In TNG they were more like"We are the Borg resistance is Futile"
But in Voy you get more info and they become "We are the Borg we have an edge on you".
I personally think they shouldn't of appeared in ENT. of course their are a lot of things that I don't agree with ENT.

Yeah, I agree upon Voyager... the Borg seemed too weak and were portrayed as a bother, rather than an imminent plague upon the galaxy  Sad

TNG = First Contact?

I like the way they are portrayed..with

Voyager Scale + Effects.
TNG Fear + Danger.

I think TNG was good start, borg are impossible to defeat (almost)

Voy, well I think they did a good job into showing what everyone was thinking, why not transport a torpedo onto a borg vessel and let it explode,

but I think first contact really shows the borg as they should. I would've have repclicated myself gunpowder guns with bullits and I would've maybe swords for all crew to engage in melee combat seeing as that is the only way to defeat them. Like worf, chopping of borgs, damn!

The Borg seem to only bother with races with advanced technology, for the most part the members of the Federation probably don't know enough about convetional weapons to even think of using them.

Likewise, I am sure that their energy shields could be made to adapt to conventional weapons given time... as the ships are capable of adapting to torpedoes

Before or after they explode?

Both I would presume. ... however I don't remember if a torpedo ever succesfully attacked a fully operational Borg ship or not... and what the outcome was to speak on that matter  Sad
