I was wondering wether you would be able to create some proper A2 missions to release with Fleet Operations.

As in decode the Mission (.drl) and (.dsl) files and create new ones, I was thinking you could do this since they apper to be programs based on what the structure lokking like with a HEX editer.

an hex editor wouldn't be much of use to create armada 2 missions. the two files are actually dll files. if someone really would like to build 100% new missions scripts, these two dlls have to be rebuild from the ground up. if you take a look at the legacy sdk you get the idea what needs to be done as they are essentially the same. i am going to take a look at those files after v3 release. definitiv no campaign mode for v3.

it is possible to create new missions by now, i think there is also a thread on a2f.com going on i haven't checked yet but you are bound to the possibilities given in stock armada 2 mission scripts and that is not what we would like to have when creating missions as we are not want to bend our story to fit the possibilities given.
