I'm not sure where to ask this but I've been wondering something. Ok say you have 2 ships and they have "fighter" support can there be a weapon or special weapon that works like flak cannons? Wiping out fighters and barely harming anything else? or is it an all around type of thing? I'm trying to figure this out I'm noot used to modding A2 I'm better with A1 lol So was just wondering...

Sounds good but how would I implement this weapon use a variation of the tricobalt device? I was thinking of changing the FX and make it fire at multiple targets.

Just a thought, but remember from vanilla A2? The Nebula's special weapon, point defense laser/phaser (Whatever it is)? Something like that, just change the targetting? That's what I'm guessing.

OK I've been working with my ODFs and it seems that I can get it to deal tons of damage to "scouts" and barely anything to other ships. And I've reworked the tricobalt weapon to short range and working on a multi target system. I'm trying to set it to special energy sort of like 3 en per second of use. I don't know how I can set up an auto fire feature to "cover" the main ship. But I've done away with harming your own ships. So I'm a little stuck. Suggestions?

Optec isn't it a specific class label that you deal to like Scouts or Destroyers ?

Been a while since I looked at ODF's
