well, I installed the patch to fix the not enough memory problem. However, It's still there. Also, when I start a mission if I try to focus on the uncovered area of the map, It locksup(But everything is still going).

Does this have anything to with the patch I downloaded only having 4 files that don't replace anything?(I used exe but looked at zip just incase the exe was off). I mean, How is the game supposed to use your files?

Also, if I just take the stuff from zip and put it in my armada 2 folder, then I don't get the "not enough memory" bug(I use vista 64bit by the way). However, the exe version does give me that bug.

I think my freezing problem is connected to a problem I have installing fleet operations: while decoding sound, It says it can't access borg.wav because a different process is already using it. Why do I think this? because in the first mission, its about when the borg send their first messege that it seizes up graphically.

Further research indicates that one person fixed their problem by updating their motherboard

Sorry for the short reply, but your problems are Vista linked. (Not to worry, it'll be permanently fixed in the full V3). For now, go to the thread about Vista Betafix for FO; it explains exactly what to do to fix this issue. If you need more help, just respond again  Cheesy
