before someone asks what just happened to the developers diary - i moved it's threads to the news section, no posts were deleted.
why was it removed you ask? now, it just didn't work out the way we wanted. and no, it's not the users fault. since september 2005 we have opened about 7 threads in the whole section where later ones could also have gone directly to the news section. initially the idea behind it was to discuss the "unimportant" topics of development like the current size of the installer file or how many users do use this or that feature and so on.
i have realized that we don't need an extra section for that, the news section serves well for the important questions like community design votes and so on. you probably know it's not like we don't visit the other sections of the board. we usually got our community input from outside the developers diary anyway Wink

Fair enough.  I take it that means you don't have any "unimportant" news to jump-start it with.  That means what you've been working on is worthy of it's own news item...  Any chance of seeing it soon?
