I think you have the wrong end of stick here. Fleet operation is still in Beta phase and is merely progressing through versions rendering previous releases outdated and unneeded.

Well, yes, version 2 was a beta.  I'm not sure where you can find it at this point, but to be honest, the v3 PR is far superior.

Like Blade shows, the previous versions (except for the armada 1 mod) can be found on the site.

Out in a dump heap... or somewhere is cyberspace  . If I remember correctly the Developers had a systems crash which annihilated the Armada 1 mod so... Sad

Ok sorry for bumping the topic but I don't wanna start a new one for this question, is there a way to play FleetOps Beta 2 with Windows Vista? I know there's a fix for version 3 PR but as I like the  I would rather like to play version 2 until 3 is out.

Did you try searching the forums?  I remember some topic about this floating around the tech support area a long while back.

well if you are getting the error (decoding some audio) when installing then install on XP and copy it over to your vista profile. and it could work but I know know

Don't know what gives you all the idea of having to install it on an XP partition, when the error comes up you end the decoder task in taskmanager and voila, a new FO install is done.

And I did look around in the forums for over an hour before asking here. Smiley
