if there is going to be a 2.6 patch could the widescreen support be added also a window mode (maybe a function in the shortcut like the /quick command and maybe a on/off toggle for team colours

lol I think that the only thing that would do is have the game need to stop changing the resolution. but other than that it would be considered a new mod I think

custom resolutions are in the works. i have rewritten a lot of code since i first announced that feature. i'd really like to have it working 100% under all circumstances before rolling out that feature

it works fine so far, one issue is that armada is not able to show a long list of resolutions as the combobox expands out of the screen Wink

I think its safe to say that you could eliminate some of the lower resolutions...i.e. 640x480, 800x600 as i don't think anyone uses them anymore. I'm using 1440x900 on my monitor..and let me tell you..having to play the game in 1280x960 is starting to annoy me slightly...I mean the colors are good and everything..but damn...its just starting to get to me...

yes but doca if you increase the resonlution the the one on the bottom that you can see if you use that one you will be able to see the ones under it because your resolution is bigger  Cheesy

Hmm, sounds great.

I work a lot with GUI's, and experiment with different layouts etc (atm working on an SFC-style one)... I hope that there will be support for other arrangements of the items?

I'd be really interested to get Armada II in widescreen, not really for a bigger res, actually for a smaller one.

Armada II on the Asus Eee PC Cheesy

Does anyone have any suggestion or working methods for doing this?

apart from widescreen support can the patch also make it so that repair facilities can recharge special energy

also having a 6 image wireframe would b great (6th being a image of the ship that dsnt really do anything but the others cud b all 5 of the system icons)
