What kind of monitor are you using? Perhaps your settings are too dark?

they are a bit dark but I agree with Phlexor you may wont to check you graphic and monitor settings.

A handy thing that I did was run the THX tuner on my Star Wars DVDs. I also have a 19" WS LCD screen, so it was a matter of only adjusting the brightness to 20%.

The Trailer is dark overall, but not enough to not see detail.

Yeah, if MI:III was anything to go by, J.J. Abrams likes things dark and grim. Sometimes...

indeed they did, but the fact that Anderson *was* not directing AvP 2 led to false hope of a decent movie.

There wouldn't be even an iota of hope if the hopefuls see AvP 1.
The only things murdered at the end of that movie were the franchises.

The movie itself wasn't particularly bad, it just wasn't exactly the sequel type either.

However, SciFi channel could outdo AvP2 with one of their lame monster movies.  In fact, they probably already have.
