Not to start an argument. But in defense of Joelteon7 who is a good friend of mine, its not a matter of the A2files team "relenting" as you have put it. They are viewing the PatchProject as being within the guidelines of Filefront and ZiffDavis as it no longer modifies the exe or any of the stock dlls. If the fleetops didn't have the loader and neither did the patch project, they both would have stayed on A2files. The team felt is was against the rules setforth by filefront. It wasn't jealousy or hatred, it was business. I wish people would understand that. I personally though never cared about whether or not it altered the exe or the dlls, a feeling I made well known on the forums and to Joel himself many times. I felt that it should have stayed up for the expressed reason of. Its making Armada2 better. Now that Doca has become a better programmer, not that he wasn't good before, but now hes simply better, A2files can host the program as long as its within the rules. If they view it as violating the rules again. The same situation will occur again. if Activision or MadDoc could just declare it abandonware or give us the source code it would be much easier to add stuff to the game. but alas. Okay sermon over.

yes I under stand I used the wrong words on that note I know what you mean and how they feal. because I am a staff member on supreme commander files (hosted on file front) and I can see this as one of the times when mods cross (or seem to cross a line) a guide line and it needs to be removed just in case some one is still watching or cares. thanks and next time I will try and use some different wording

P.S. for any of you that are looking for me on filefront forums or supcom files my user name there is "eluvatar" thanks
