First off I'd like to say the Patch project is great stuff.
Second, I have two suggestions for weapons.
1- A sod based torpedo that behaves like the sprite-based torpedo (unlike the antimine missiles some modes use).
2- I've been considering a Honor Harrington based mod and what I would need to get it to work and look right would be to fire a laser armed missile (like the Card Dreadnaught) instead of building them.
Basically a weapon that will behave like a missile/torpedo but is armed with lasers, or torpedos itself and that will blow up on target.
This would be great for HH style laser heads but also for anyone who would like Multi-independant kill veheicle (MIRV) style attack weapons.
