When is the fleet operations mode based in? Afew years after the dominion war? After Star Trek nemisis? During the Dominion War?

Just a bit curious.

I believe it is after Nemesis, but I could be wrong about this.  However, I am absolutely positive that it is after the Dominion War, hence why there are no Cardassians in the Dominion ( ).

I have always assumed that FO was set at around the same time as vanilla AII was; six months after A1, which (i think) was set  a few months after the Dominion War.

Dominius_Noctis is also correct about it being set after Nemesis; the team was mentioning once Scimitar-class ships making a apperance as a map/special ship.

There there Dominus...you can still have Cardassians in the Dominion; you just to find some, find their shipyard/starbase and "persuade" them to join you... (LOL).

Fleet Operations is based on a Star Trek RPG we (the developers) play. The RPG started in the weeks after the dominion war. Fleet Operations is therefore based around one year after the war.
As certain events raised while we were already playing (Star Trek Nemesis hit the cinemas for example) the Fleet Operations time line splits up a bit from normal Star Trek. We tried to incorporate these events into the story, but some did not match the events occurred in our story. I will write a complete timeline after the v3 release Smiley

It would be really neat to see a timeline (I'd like to know how everything fit together, as I am sure we all would Cheesy )
So T-Man, would you be willing to offer me the limited use of your warp-capable starship (preferably with high yield quantum/graviton torpedoes) so that I can go out and hunt down some willing Cardies?

Well, I'll be the optimist and say that Fleet Ops will come out  Cheesy
I think there is another thread in which the Developers hint at a possible release date (not Never)
Good things come to those who wait (and to those who grab them from those who wait of course  )

Early 2009 would be great, and would more or less coincide with the no doubt disappointing new Star Trek film!!

In the mean time, Dom and I will find and capture a heavily armed ship to have fun with. Do you remember when we fought the entire Klingon Empire with a single vessel? Those were simpler times... (sigh).

Was that something I actually missed, or did you just make that up then?

Ok, I'm game
Only, I want to blast the heck outta some ships (I won't settle for a stupid early Earth probe, no way).
What ship are we commandeering?
