the thing I'm wondering, is if it's even possibly to do this, since the ship is one object... I mean, wouldn't u have to somehow classify one ship as 2 objects? Or can u display the health of a specific section of a ship, almost like... a MSD? (Master Systems Display) U know, the big things that show the overall systems of the ship? Is it possible to do an MSD of every ship? Like, show where the ship is being hit, and what's taking damage?

Of cores its posable its just images that make up the bar you can make images with nabbers.

Why not use this secondary hull thing as an upgrade for a further version? Increase the defensive value by strengthening hull hit points of all ships and stations by 10%. Just available for the Federation. Makes sense to me and fits into the FO philosophy (balance and canonity).
