Star Trek destroys everything in real life.  People who play star trek have no life and they are all nerds.  Star Trek players devote everything for the game and don't care about anything in reality.  What is the point of blowing up ships on the computer?  Can't believe you guys actually wanna spend time with ships than girls?  Are you sure that you are "straight"?

Good God, "StarTrekHater",  LOL

How long did it take you to think of all that friend? You're a genius you are!!!!

For your information, most of us have interesting and fulfilling careers, and a significant proportion of those of us with a balanced and interesting life, are also rather popular with the ladies  . Take my word for it

But I couldn't possibly expect you to know that, since you're not telepathic, although you clearly think you are. Could it be you who has nothing better to do but take the time and trouble to create a profile called "StarTrekHater", therefore demonstrating that it's you who is not in touch with reality?  LOL

Moron, your bus is leaving.

Lazarus please don't be so offensive. It's his opinion, leave it like that. If you don't agree, stay off of that topic. Thanks.

Pity you didn't ask him to not be so offensive Jan, but I guess when it comes to the "corporate image" of the FO site, you guys give greater respect to outsiders than to regular FO players.

Personally, I find integrity to the truth far more dignified than pussy-footing around trying not to offend anybody. Anyone that tries to appease a disgruntled outsider like a slimy, slithering politician is a weak person, in my not-so-humble opinion. Don't think, Jan, that just because you're a moderator that you can squash my sincere declaration of integrity. If you don't like it, ban me from the forums. I suspect it will difficult to ban me just because I verbally confronted someone who was bashing the site. Otherwise, leave me be, I have free speech as much as he does.

Additionally, his "opinion" is simply incorrect. It's about time the people on this planet stopped giving undue respect to others simply because it is their "opinion".

Poor, poor StarTrekHater...

I think he has no other things in his life...so he has to hate something.

Now that's pretty cool for a change. Someone who calls himself/herself "StarTrekHater" joins a board about a game, placed in the Star Trek universe, to tell those, who play the game, that they might not be "straight".

C'mon, pal, that's weird. You're serious about this?  Cheesy

With the exception of The Old Man, you guys keep saying "he" and "his". Did it ever occur to you that the author could be a female?

The person seemed to be referring to his/her belief that spending time with girls is the only worthy activity. I could be wrong, but it seems unlikely a girl would use that sort of language. Throw in to the mix that most of the members of the site are male, and it becomes much quicker to just say "his" and "he". You've no idea how annoying it is having to type his/her all the time just so that (heaven forbid) we are not politically incorrect.

We could have written "her" and "she", but what if it was a guy? Truly, feminists never got rid of sexism, they just turned it upside-down. Let's not be petty about a few unimportant pronouns.

It doesn't really matter if he is male or she is female.
I guess we'll never hear again from her/him (  rolleyes ) here since she/he made her/his point and might be happy enough now to do whatever she/he does when she/he isn't trolling.

I sense that this will become the most popular thread for a short while... then fizzle until Treckie-Hater comes back. Perhaps he was burned by a hot Vulcan? Or a Klingon...
Either way I must laugh in your general direction *french accent*. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!  LOL
