I tried to go online to play Fleetops V3 PR online, with other players through the multiplayer option -> gamespy, but was unable to connect to other players or games in the lobby.
Do we have a separate Fleetops lobby or multiplayer connect?
It would be easier to have one - especially since Fleetops allows us to load the standard Armada2.
If fleetops players could be routed online to a distinct multiplayer lobby, it would avoid the inconvenience of having to search for players with the same version of Armada.
Maybe I'm missing something.

Hmmm, it's hard enough finding FO V2 players on gamespy, so as for V3 PR, I don't know. We do need a dedicated FO lobby, not sure if there is one. Anybody know of one?

Nope... not yet at least. We did petition to make a petition for an exclusive FO lobby some time ago (wow that was confusing).... but it did not amount to much unfortunately

Wouwouwou! I have an idea!  If this is possible it would help ALOT!

The Gamespy Lobby be it the Arcade Lobby or the ingame lobby is separated into 4 rooms.

1. Lobby
2. Cadet room
3. Captain room
4. Admiral room

You are directly linked through the plain lobby when log in. Now... if there is a way for DOCa to lead all players with FO that are trying to log into the lobby just reroute them to the Admirals Room (4.) instead of the plain Lobby where all the others are. Then we would have some sort of "own" lobby and players in there would be FO players. The users of GS arcade know their subject and should find the FleetO... erm i mean Admirals room.
The good thing bout that is that no one uses the last 3 rooms except for some clan people that want to have some training sessions...but these times are over. At least with 3.0 there should be a revolution going on.

great idea. I've wondered the same thing before, too, about having our own room... I like that idea, though, Jan.

Sounds good to me... after all FO is the best mod out there (IMHO) so it is fitting for it to be located in the "admiral's room".

your all still ignroing the floor, your acting like there is any point makign this when nobody actually plays oneline making all the work pointless...

most FO people come to the FO site as guests and just browse, there is a clear forum for online gaming but nobody uses it because for some reason people love the non exstistant single player campaign...

Many people would play online...but all the time you join the lobby there are no FO players on. So if you could at leat see if anyone is online you could also see when most people are online to play FO.

But you are right ... there are several other issues people don't play online.

Truly sorry... it's just that I have almost no time currently.  Sad I want to play, believe me, but it is extremely tough to find a time when both other players are on line and I myself have time
