looking forward to the borg. Would not object if the Cardassians were also part of the game, maybe with the Gorn as guest races with the cardassian main race, like the breen are with the dominion in v3.
The Gorn actually have a treaty with the Federation, and if you read a book (considered Cannon) it discusses a pending alliance. The Gorn Hegemony might join the Federation. True. But if we were to stick by canon absolutely, then we should also note that the Dominion too have signed a peace accord and after Odo's return it is unlikely that hostilities would resume. Also, Voyager canon leaves the Borg themselves in existential limbo. I was just suggesting that we retain mainstay Trek favourites as choosable races, and found the Cardassians to be just as important as the Roms or Dominion. To spice things up, I thought it may be a nice idea to include a couple of Gorn or Tholians ships as neutral characters- did not mean to emphasise the Gorn - we could simply have a few ships as non-playable but more along the lines of Armada 1 domhell map characters that are grey and attack anyone who violates their space. Didn't mean to over emphasise the Gorn.

I think the idea of having the freedom to choose each race is the key point. True, in the case of the Dominion and Cardassian hostilities are ended according to canon, but then you might argue the same thing for the Romulans, with a possible treaty at the end of Nemesis. The point is that it's fun to set up our own scenarios, with traditional allies fighting each other etc. Who wasn't excited when war broke out (temporarily) between the Federation and the Klingons in DS9 (well, I was, but I'm easily excited ).

Yes, I have noticed long ago that the zoom function (can't move it down more than half the pic) was broken, but I thought it was just my browser or something.

Oh I know what you guys ment, I'm just stating if you're gonna have Gorn and Cardassians and (my fav) the Breen or Tholians, then lets have them be seperate, quality races. Or maybe have a starbase the changes depending on the avatar you pic (the avatar being Gorn or Cardassian, or Breen Or Tholian, y'know? Like mini-subraces)

Do you have any idea how long we would sit around and wait for all that races being fully separate? Let me guess.... 15 years?

As far as I remember V2 the Incubation Complex "produced" drones. The more of these buildings you had the faster you were able to build larger ships which require more drones. They did nothing but spamming drones.

As crew is no longer a resource the Incubation Complex will play a key role for the Borg in gaining supplies

Just a question... somewhat along these lines... who does the actual balance testing for v3?

From what I understand, up to this point it's been Doca, Optec, and Detektor. Maybe a few of their friends as well.
