Actually 8472 wouldn't have needed it, too.
I didn't think of something like mixed-tech for the Noxter. I thought of another upgrade-variant. As the Borg won't get the pure mixed-tech, there might be also something totally new for the Noxter. Otherwise they would have a disadvantage.

Maybe they could get a whole bunch of new ship classes or something designed specifically for fighting in this galaxy: new mutations or something. In the end I am just happy to see what the FO team thinks up next though!

oh yes like have a weapon for a noxter ship and it takes it over and you have to send it back to your base and have it dissembled by like the tech assimilater for the borg and once its done you get an extra weapon to fight that race or what ever you want it could build a construction ship once its done dissembling the ship or you could like convert the ship that would be cool  |

lol, nobody seems to remember that neither 8472 nor the noxter can actually take over anything nor trade so how do you suppose this "mixed tech" thing is even activated for them? it would have no place in their gameplay since its nature doesnt allow for it.

so what your saying is a permanant computer overide weapon... NO WAY. Sorry dude but no way, yeah its true i aint got an alternative but thats wrong  too powerful, by a longshot. however the noxter aint due out till some time after the rest of V3 (plus the fact that was a maybe anyway), so if they are coming, im sure something will be done to make them fit. |

The question of a Noxter mixed tech weapon is beside the point; to get mixed tech, you have to capture an enemy construction vessel, and the Noxter have no crew.
Therefore debating the bonuses they will receive is quite a waste of time.
