Every time i try to start fleet operations 3.0 PR with the patch installed it displays the crash dialog and checks for a solution. Vista hasn't found a solution yet.

The gaming world is falling apart, its being taken too seriously, I mean its just a game, nothing to be going nutso about. Someone needs to take action on this. We need to stop this. Its making online gaming very dangerous and not fun.

Wink anyway, you should install fleet operations on a xp install and then copy the files over to your vista computer as some audio files may not have been decoded when installed on vista. that's why there is no "official" patch for fleet operations to fix that issue, too. the missing decoded audio can't be fixed by a patch.

Launching games on Vista is like trying to play the Piano with boxing gloves on. Don't worry, I'm working on it!

Oops. Uh, I just run everything in administrative mode and it seems to work. Otherwise, cough, you are right that FO will get overruled by vista
