Good day all . lately me and lumpy (the only members left of RFO) have been playing FO and wish to add new blood to the ranks of RFO.

RFO is a friendly Romulan based clan that has a dark and dreary past that none wants to talk about . We would like some of the newer members of the FO bords to come and take a look at RFO and some old members to rethink joining us. feel free to ask question and think about comming under the sheltering wings of the Eagle of RFO.

P.S. what is the team speak IP? Cheesy

but you have to log in to access it, and i don't think StarTrek47 has been on to verify accounts, so i am going to make a secondary site for the mean time.

Awesome! Unfortunately, Wozbot is formerly affiliated with IBKW, and has not foraken his heritage. His heart is of that world. His blood is as theirs. What is more, the Klingon Empire are arch enemies of the Romulan Star Empire. We warriors tell many tales around camp fires about that dark and dreary past, a dark age rarely spoken of.

Fascinating, though!

Well, first and foremost you get the benefit of saying "Hey, I'm a part of FOSF!" or "Look at me, I'm RFO!".  Of course, you can use the tag online, and you get to be a part of a little social circle.  Of course, this is just until V3 full comes out.  Up until then, we're all just fooling around.  We have no serious games or tournaments or wars.  Of course, when V3 comes out, so will the major player base.  Some of them will be looking for a clan, in which case we'll be happy to have them.  Others may already be a part of the clan and have just been inactive.  Still others may form their own clans.  Whatever the case, if you join now, you can say that you're one of the original people and have a bit of bragging rights and reputation, and also the benefit of seniority in whatever rank systems emerge.

So, by all means, join one of our social groups now and reap the rewards later!

Interesting reply, i liked it.
what is the link to FOSF?
and i cant see the ROF site...
Are there plans to have tournaments and the like in the clan? and what are the rewards? other then braging rights? LOL i saw plenty of bragging rights in the F-I-I so much so that during the reberth i was given a rank of VAdm, but to what end?
Social networking i get from right here i think. lol
Im just stirring  the waters to see something, dont take this as a challenge to clans or a debate.

Here's the link to the FOSF site.  It's been inactive for about a year LOL, but I'm hoping Euf will let me get things cleaned up and ordered out.

In the mean time, you're welcome to join, as is anyone else.  Go ahead and post it here, or better yet, pm me.

p.s. is RLF still around at all?

it seams that both FO clans have been inactive, kinda like a lot fo the older a2 clans, and even some of the new ones (though i hanvt been on a2 in a long time). the Armada game dosnt really seam to support clan life. any of your clans consider moving into other startrek games? STFC3? lol its my latest fancy.

We probably will, once FO dies out.  I know there are still some active A2 clans, and probably A1 clans as well, but many others have moved on.  Will we?  I don't know.  Moving from an RTS to a game like SFC3 is quite a jump.  Maybe moving to something like CnC3 or AoE3 or even Supreme Commander or Company of heroes, but only because they are the same genre.  Truth be told, I would prefer moving to another Star Trek RTS, but the sad fact is that there aren't any newer ones out.  Maybe Empire at War will do?

I would submit that the genre is anti clan, unless you have weekly/monthly tournaments. were in with STFC3 you could have a ship assigned you and earn upgrades though other things. for that matter, things involving FO.....but this is off topic...BAD MATT BAD
