I remember I'd heard/read the name sometime, but I didn't bother to check it out...

I just now watched this trailer:

If it only was for A2 - as far as I can tell it's only developed for A1.

I never really could get used to Future Tense. To much fanboy shoved in, (something I am glad that fleetops does not do) and I honestly never really like the models all that much.

Same as Doca, I am sure that the trailer only consists of rendered videos and not of ingame footage.

So we can't tell what they did besides the trailer, which is - as already said - really nice.
Let's wait for the first screenshots! After we got an impression of the mod itself we will be able to discuss whether they had to do something on source-code-level or not and how they propably did it.

Take a look at FO - they didn't change the source code and you wouldn't guess its Armada 2 FO is based on.  cool

I wonder if the video itself (the opening) is embedded in the source code (the entire thing) and isn't just called on. If so fleetops or any other Amrada II modders could simply create a video name it the same thing and put it in place of the current one.
