I saw something about extended widescreen support, by any chance, will it support 1280 by 800, because that would be perfect...

every widescreen resolution is supported. which resolutions are shown depends on your hardware.
these resolutions are not hardcoded, you see the same resolutions like in every other game.
so no worries, your desired resolution will work. Wink
