Here you go. An updated loader for Fleet Operations 3 PR. This one should run with Vista also. Still, this is beta so report back any issues. The loader codebase is still 3 PR so there are no new features. just a bit bugfixing. This update also works for xp.

How to install:
  • First make sure you have installed Fleet Operations 3 PR patch 1
  • Delete FleetOps.map from your Fleet Operations directory
  • Extract FleetOps.exe and FleetOps.mad to your FleetOperations dir and replace existing files (note the difference between mad and map!)

Note: this update also includes a no CD patch to circumvent problems for vista users. If you have replaced your armada2.tgt with a cracked one, please undo this change when using the updated loader

Note for vista users: This is no fix for the installer issue when decoding audio. I think your only option is to install Fleet Operations on a prior-Vista OS and copy it over to your Vista machine then.

Update 28.05.07
Speaker beeping fix
Update 04.07.07
added updated NetworkManager.dll for Vista online gaming compatibility
Update 19.09.07
"not enough memory" Fix

So we install the Fleet OPS (for Vista) then apply this patch and delete the proper files.  So I guess what Im asking is that we deal with the decoder errors then after hitting enter a whole bunch to clear the errors we apply this patch to the Fleet OPS folder?

Hi, I downloaded this patch for my brother, because of the no-cd feature. He runs on windows xp and everything works, only his laptop keeps bleeping after this patch. (only when fleetops is launched)

Yeah still crashes.  I'll try a reinstall.  Any recommendations?  Just to be clear, however, I install normally which causes the sound decoding errors correct?  I end this decoding via task manager.  I then finish installation.  Apply patch.  Then replace and delete stated files.  Correct?

you should install fleet operations on an xp (virtual) machine and then copy fleet operations over to your vista box afterwards.

Um would installing it on an XP machine with an attached portable usb harddrive work?  Then copy that to the directory?  Also, what do you mean by virtual machine

yes, that would work, then just copy it over to vista and patch it

Also, what do you mean by virtual machine
just an alternative to people who don't have access to other computers could have used a virtual machine. a software emulated computer inside your computer where you could have installed xp on Wink like vmware or virtualpc
