I just got a new computer and now fleetops won't work with it.  I get the following error message:

"Armada2.tgt - Application Error

The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached
(0x800000003) occurred in the application at location 0x0065ca48.

Click on OK to terminate the program"

It might be because I am running with 4GB of ram?  Armada 1 and 2 won't work either but they give error messages saying not enough memory.

lol... thats rediculous! Just for the fun... have you ever tried to run vanilla A2 with the patch 1.2 project?
I'm sure DOCa comes up with a solution for it (or he lets you wait until V3 release Wink )

Well the Patch 1.2 fixed vanilla A2 but A1 is still having that memory error -- is there a fix out for it by chance?

And of course my fleetops is still messed up Sad

Thanks for the hlp!

that normal, no worries. The patch project is just for stock A2 and not for FleetOps. the patch will be in the final V3 but maybe DOCa can give you a quick fix for your issue. No promise.

I dont know if there is any fix for A1  ... try google for it.

No I have no problem installing Fleetops on Vista the problem is running it.  It has worked every time I've installed it on Vista x64 since the patch in this topic was released until this time and it's giving the error I quoted above.

Just kill the audio decoder process in task manager and the install will finish.

But than the music files are broken and you possibly can't start the game. My workaround: Copy some small wave files and rename them so they match the music files.

Ingame then turn off the music.

Yeah that's one of the things I do after I install 3.0PR and the patch and the music works fine then.  I just need a fix for this issue I'm having now if possible.  Sad
