Yep, turrets can now be selected similar to normal vessels (a doubleclick for example selects all visible platforms allowing you to upgrade them all with one click Smiley

Admiral Maysons Torpedo Platform is now an upgradeoption, too. The Torpedo Platform got a little more powerful for v3 Smiley

Will it select WITH normal vessels?  I don't think anyone wants to select a group and then come up with 11 ships... and 5 turrets.  Having to ctrl-click them out would not be fun.

I mean the click-and-drag method.  Would they be selected as well as ships?

Is there any way to avoid that?  I have no intention of sending my turrets into the enemy base, so I can see potential problems with the selectability.

i'll stick to my build ships instead of turrets tactic; map control and building up pressure is more important than anything else.

Aye, just avoid leaving your base open to ambushes.

Really taking modular technologies to the next level aren't cha'.  Cheesy Do you think this maybe expanded upon? For an example the nebula swaping its science gear for extra weapons, or something like "modify ship with extra phasers". Perhaps you could let NPC buildings mod ships. For an example a romulan goes to an Hirogen facility and that facility can refit the ship with hunting sensors. Of this seems like alot there could be an "Advanced Game" option.
