if were going into other series then Battlestar Galactica has the best
When the 2 battlestars attack the fleet protecting the downloading ship was awesome
otherwise its the rift battle with enterprise and scimitar

If we count other series, Babylon 5 had some awesome battles as well.

True, but that's simply because BSG is more recent.  You can't forget that B5 was a pioneer in digital effects...
