I fear the only solution is to invest in a new graphics card. the voodoo cards can only handle very low-res textures, thats why most modern games should have problems running on them.

i use a geforce FX5500, i bought it earlier on this year for £50 - thats british pounds and cheap i thought, i play FO fine on it and the most recent and modern game i have played is company of heroes, ran rather well with decent textures and res for playing. u might want to check with any other games as my card may not handle them since its old. you could probably find a FX6000 series for about the same price on ebay.

or ask 4 of 11 - he knows this stuff better than me Cheesy

A 7600GT...256mb DDR3, relatively fast and good performance is only around 110USD.

About £85.

It will last a while =].

I'm pretty experienced with Nvidia Drivers, SLi and performance tweaks too so just lemme know.

dude, you will probably be better off, just saving a bit longer and buying a brand new computer.
the comp im using cost less than £850 and it is capable of playing Oblivion with maxed out settings very comfortably.
