It works, custom screen resolutions in Star Trek Armada 2!
I just finished the proof of concept and started a game in a wide screen resolution of 1440x900 px.
Of course it won't be limited to only that resolution. I included a section for the Fleet Operations Launcher to let you enter any desired screen resolution you want.

You should know that the interface got stretched, too, as it was designed only for 4:3 resolutions by the Armada 2 developers...but we found a solution for that and are working on it.

Of course resolutions like 1280x1024 will also work where many ATI card owners currently have problems with.

Eventually I'm going to release that feature for stock Armada II after we have released Fleet Operations v3 final.

Just to make that clear for new readers: That feature is not yet available in Fleet Operations v3 PR or has been released for Armada II.

Hoorah! Though I have not noticed too much problem on my own, though I suppose it'll be an improvement over playing it at the armada max resolution now.  &nsbp; &nsbp;

actually i do not Cheesy my standard resolution ist 1280x1024 and it worked quite well without modifications for me. but many other users had problems with missing resolutions - and widescreen support is of course a nice feature.
