ok, i just installed this mod, it looks great, and the graphics especially.  kinda what i would think "armarda 3" would be like.

but, one question? how do i build? all i seem to start with is a star base that can build only two "special characters" and a scout ship

Welcome to the forums man!

Those 2 dudes u choose from in the beginning are your avatars. Look for more info on them in the info page.

Basically u choose 1 at the beginning, wait a while and when u see what bonuses he gives u(on left of the screen) u can build normally from the starbase ^^

i just tried it again, and your right.

i think an option i toggled must have made me unable to select my avatar, strangly enough
