go to where u installed FO, open the folder called FODATA

then using note pad, or word pad or microsoft word, whatever u like to use most open the FOData.ini

under the settings bit change Teamcolor=1 to Teamcolor=0

can evne make the game window, personally i have never tried it but be interesting to see.

also haveyou checked out this thread Cheesy

tell you what, why dont u test it and find out? its not hard to change back after? i dont personally use the setting but 4 of 11 does...

though to be honest mate im 100% sure it just takes the team colour of your ships, the colour still stays on the mini map...

but seriously man it will take u all of 5 minutes to tes tit and find out, change it, load an isntant action game look at the map, done

only colors on vessels are disabled, on minimap and when selected (infobar) they are still visible.
i'd only use that setting when playing fed vs other but not fed vs fed for example.
it is also a useful feature when taking screenshots

click start -> programs -> Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations -> Fleet Operations Launcher -> Change advanced settings
then you should see this. Disable the Team Colors checkbox
