Venturing to the Lost Worlds and Beyond!

Okay, I have to say, when Armada 2 was released, it split the community in two, and I was one of those Armada 1 fans who never really liked the "stackable" feature of A2 and the somewhat small upgrade from A1.  But after playing this mod, I can say I'm happy to dig my A2 disk out of my gaming shelf and actually play it.

The environments are spetacular, great job improving the maps and space in A2.  All the cool new additions really made me say wow the first time I played FO.

Second, the ships are nicely done, especially the attention to detail in regards to the Monsoon class.  And the shuttles and such flying around starbases, just wow, never imagined seeing that in a ST RTS anytime soon.

Third, makes me want to go out a buy an extra copy of A2 just so I can invite a friend over to play FO  Cheesy

And lastly, I can't wait until the full 3.0 version comes out.  Smiley

Yep we never liked the stock A2 that well too, actually we never played it that mutch Cheesy so we consider Fleet Operations more as a mod developed on the basics of A1 then A2.
I hope you will enjoy the future releases too Smiley

Happy posting  Wink

Well FO is the sole reason I'm playing A2.  Otherwise I'm on A1 battling it out with the between the two mods: ST v. SW and Alliances.

I just thought I would say, I reinstalled the stock A2 tonight on my box to play around with not only stock A2 but also the the Mods avaliable, and boys, you guys are really the best, I tried borg incursion tonight, and was appaled by the unbalancing act that was occuring. the swing even in the mods is unbeliveable, I am glad to say that not only do you have frankly the best models out there, and I do mean the best, but you guys are some of the most innovative Smiley  I thank you guys for not only making the most amazing models, but also keeping things balanced, way to go guys Smiley
