im just wondering if anyone one knows what the 4th value in the "(race)_build_list.aip" actually does, armada 2 says "min tech level" but its got like -2 and -3 and so on, i dont know if you know optec or docacola and i know ur busy being developers and all but if you know place share it cuz it aint that much of a pain or anyone else knows, share the love

and im guessing the 2nd value "base to build at" refers to if they had a 2 base thats where it would build it?

and what if they are possitive?

ok ok, i think im starting to understand, now what declares the tech level in the first place, im just asking cuz im trying to make the AI harder when we play online games.
 

i suggest reading the big book of modding first, should be available at any aramada 2 modding site. its a good beginners guide which answers many questions.
