Ive noticed that the Galaxy needs a Beefing up cause right now it isnt the ship that we all know and love
Either A, Increase the phaser strength or
B, increase the Shield points it was the fed flagship and remains one of the most powerfull vessels in starfleet

As far as phaser strength goes, the Galaxy is superior to the Akira, in my oppinion and this should be reflected, it also has superior shielding versus the Akira class, and in this game, one on one it is almost no match for the Akira.

no doubt it should have superior shielding, but the phasers are classed as the same, so i would give them the same power, but have the galaxy phaser fire slightly faster as it has more arrays to fire from.

nope you click it like the akira. (there is an issue about the weapon button dissapearing when its in a selected fleet, or so i heard)

Hmm, if it is point defense like i remember it. Than it actuly fits very well with the Galaxy's many phaser arrays. Although, I dont see how it fits with the akira, since it is a ship which main armorment would seem to be torpedoes rather than phasers.

Ohh... umm... That is it? That doesnt realy fit with the Galaxy. I cast my vote for brining back point defense on the galaxy. Even if it doesnt last for very long or has othr limitations, like not being able to defend against certain torpedoes.
