My favorites are Dominion and Romulans.
Dominion: Because they are some kind of evil anti-federation ^^ And those dreadnaughts are coooooool. *violett shining*
Romulans: They have this extremely cool cruisers with cloaking field. And this nasty base to sabotage ships. I love that...
your enemy just sits around building up his fleet and suddenly...BOOM your ships explode >XD

Federation, because of the non-evil way they act. Although I like races like Klingons, Dominion & Terrans (M U), etc because rules don't hinder them as much.

Borg for me. They are quite simply "The Big Cheese" of Star Trek. Not only do we have our special abilities, but we can take yours too! Don't get me wrong, all the other races are cool too, but at the end of the day, it's the Borg for me. "Resistance is and always has been...futile" You've been lucky so far Federation... ...But how much longer can that luck last?

I love Pie.
I like 3 Races.
Cardassians:
Despite being underpowered, the Galor is just a magestic warship.
Romulans:
Large, overdone ships, like SSD's from Star Wars, gotta love the elegant lines of the Warbirds and especially the Norexan class.
Borg:
Nuff said.

isn't the klingon empire a feudal culture? It's arguable, but that seems to be the closest human comparison IMO. The Klingon Empire is controlled by a chancellor (king-ish), who is replaced either by bloodline or more commonly by who killed him, and the high council (Lords-ish), who carry significant clot and fluctuate depending on the influence they control. This is all based on a clan system.

Feudal with more power to the chancellor than to a feudal king
