Let me just start by saying what a great job you guys have done in making of this mod, When completed it will be one of the best mod's out there..
That being said.. there is still work to be done some bug's here n there.. some of the models' need work, it causes lag on my system and i have moderate/good pc.. but i am confident that this will be worked out.. in the next few releases..

All that is good/// but what really amazes me is the Map's .. They are some of the best map's i have seen in A2, however they are incompatible with Regular A2..  and i was wondering if it would be possible to port some features on to Regular A2 ///or if someone would help/show how to replicate the features ..Since i was unsuccessful in my first attempt/ i tried to to do the background stars(which look more realistic).. which just ended up in huge ball's of light all around..

This is just for my personal use.. i am not modding or anything..

"just play FO son"
...?
...,..?
...?
hahaha.. that's funny..
had a good laugh...ok...yes.. hmm..
right..

Yeah.. i would but currently there are bug's.. and i've been trying to get the same effect for quite some time now(for my custom A2 installation..which contain's part's of many different mod's).. even before the mod was realesed..
I've tried to use background image's ..and so far this is what'ive got..

I want to give it a more realistic space/background feeling..
...so it would be a real help..

And as i've mentioned.. twice-------
"Yeah.. i would but currently there are bug's.. and i've been trying to get the same effect for quite some time now(for my custom A2 installation..which contain's part's of many different mod's).. even before the mod was realesed..

and

"That being said.. there is still work to be done some bug's here n there.. some of the models' need work, it causes lag on my system and i have moderate/good pc.. but i am confident that this will be worked out.. in the next few releases.."

And how do i add the "light sources on the map itself..."you think

One question: Did u download FleetOps from the download area of this site?
If so, you have installed Beta 2. Be sure you downloaded Version 3 PR which is found on external sites only PLUS the patch 1.0 which eliminates most bugs that really cared.

Transfering or even usage of FleetOps maps in Armada 2 is impossible. You should have to recreate / copy the maps manually  with corresponding mapobjects in Armada 2 . But  FleetOps has completly new objects and file names etc. which means...you will never get this high quality or "feeling" from FleetOps into Armada 2.

Ohh.. God..!
you are right.. i have Beta 2.. which would explain the bug's.. but what you might find more shocking is that i am on dialup..
That mean's i will have to download FleetOps all over again.. which take's about 2day's..
Or is there a way i can just patch and update it to V3.0

And recreate/replicate .. is exactly what i've tried to do.., right now i am only concerned with the star's.., i've tried to move the stars_default.odf ..over which increases their(stars) size tenfold.. and that's not the effect i am looking for..

anyway... Thank's for your help.. i'll still keep working on it..

sorry there is no patch to upgrade from V2 to V3 pr. you'll just have to bare with it im afraid.

Plus make sure that V2 is uninstalled BEFORE you begin installing V3 pr Smiley

You are welcome.

Each bad situation has its good sides... this time it's the multimedia pack. You can use the one from Beta 2.  Wink

DL it from over there. The servers are quite fast.

TalkTalk is a UK communication company. I made the mistake of assuming you lived in the UK. I downloaded my first FO via dail up so it was slow in coming but worth it at the end mate
