I personally think that a future show with riker at the command of the Titan would be kinda cool for a series. ANYTHING in the future would make a good series. i say we should dump their obsession with the past and move on.

I'd like a series that has Worf having his own command, probably near the 25th century.
I also agree that Berman should move on because screwing with the past is like sacrilege when you consider what Gene Roddenberry and company intended.

I'd like to see a series that is after the events of ST nemesis An other idea would be from a different point of view like from the klingon perspective.

A view from a different perspective would be oh so cool. For instance a Romulan view of the Dominion war

Mybe a more in depth view of the Dominion War covering multiple views. I believe that this could provide enough action for those who want it, exploration into political issues for those of us who enjoy that, the possible exploration of Dominion space, and many many more possibilities. I could be a writer for Star Trek because I love writing Sci-Fi in school and the Star Trek universe has enthralled me ever since I saw the first episode of The Next Generation. Out of each series I have been able to see its strengths and weaknesses. The new movie had better be a good one.

No move away from the dom war its been done and all it will do is bore you
if you really want a good story line just take a romulan ship or a klingon and ship and make a series ofcourse that cant work because of the way they are portrayed and that they do too many bad things compared to humans so thats a no no
the only way we will get a new series is if they create a new cast and set it on some ship that travels through time or something

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NO MORE ******* THE TIME LINE, THE TIME LINE HAS BEEN ****** WITH ENOUGH, STOP ******* THE TIMELINE, IT DON'T WANT TO BE ****** WITH, THATS CALLED RAPE, DON'T RAPE THE TIMELINE.
A SERIES IN THE FUTURE IS GOOD BECAUSE IT CAN'T RAPE THE TIME LINE, THE TIME LINE IS STILL RECOVERING FROM THE PEDERFELICNESS OF ENTERPRISE TOUCHING AND RAPEING IT'S SPECIAL PARTS.
ONE LAST TIME NO MORE ******* THE TIME LINE!
