that's a problem with your hardware/software configuration.
your physical memory is already nearly eaten up, fleet operations doesn't have much left so it has to use your page file on the hard disk. either close down some programs/background tasks first or think about an memory upgrade to 512mb. i think it would speed up your overall performance on your system a bit as there are already only very few reserves left for other applications too.

I have a lag problem too. I installed Fleet Ops 3 today, tried it out, in less then a minute, my FPS dropped down to a pathetic level. Now i have 2 gigs DDR3 RAM, a Radeon X850XT 256meg video card and a 3.2ghz P4. It's NOT a hardware problem, as far as i can tell, there is a memory leak somewhere in your mod. Is/Can/Has this been addressed?

were you playing instant action or a multiplayer game? plus whats your internet connection speed? cos it doesnt matter what kind of hardware you've got if your connection speed aint up to scratch. what settings are you using also? you got similar specs to me and mine plays flawlessly, maxed out. perhaps its the radeon cards, noticed that other people were having problems running FO with them huh .

Instant Action and 1gbps LAN Multiplayer games. All the video/audio options on minimal just delays the lag. When the lag occurs, the sound goes haywire as well, audio static and the like on a high quality audio card.

in that case make sure your drivers are up-to-date. also patched or unpatched version of FO?
plus what maps were you trying?

I update my drivers at every opportunity, i'm using the patched version of FO cause the plain one caused errors. Every map i did caused the problems, as soon as i discover an enemy ship, mainly AI, the lag spikes and stays that way. The lag is the worst when any ship explodes, friendly or enemy.

huh hmmm, im stumped. with the specs on your machine there should be very little lag (if any at all) on high settings. im still convinced that there must be some sort of problem with your hardware though, (specifically the gfx card & sound card). you may have to wait for Doca to come online for this problem. In the meantime plz attach you DXdiag.txt (save him asking for it later), maybe that will reveal the problem.

dude, you can be as convinced as you want that it's a hardware problem, when 4 different systems with 4 different configurations also share the problem (i tested them last night) then it's not a system problem.

I'm in the IT field, i work with systems and networks every day, if there were something wrong with my system configurations i would have solved it long ago. This is a software problem.
