Would it be useful to break apart the Map exchange to 2 or 3 separate sections, separately for every major FO version?

perhaps but maybe it will simply surfice to name all threads after their respective FO version. eg: V3 "yourmapnamehere" or "mapname" for V2 something like that. besides Doca said something about a new site or setup for when V3 is released so maybe this will be incorporated into that rather than be made a must for now Smiley

Good enough...  Cheesy

Another question...

Is there or will there be a way to insert a picture into a message without having to link it to an outside source?
(Ex: When i attach a new map, i would like to insert a pic of it in the message.)

yeah, using forums it is not posible, but you could make a form indepandantly from the forums to upload pictures directly onto your ftp server (if there's space available)

yeah both are good, but it would look more professional if the FO site had it's own upload site.

PS: it really shows that it's summer  and many people are on vacation, the forum's recieveing less and less visitors and posts.

Don't know if this fits the intention of this topic but I try:

Would it be possible to add some more information to the project status page for nosy people like me? I'd like to see, what exactly remains to be done and not "only" numbers  cheesy

Thank you!!!!  Smiley
