we are rebalancing many of the existing vessels and stations, for example tritanium has become more important. at the moment i'm doing the romulans (just finished the starbase), they are doing greate progress, the noxter are partly done.
To be honest i underestimated the time i have to spend on the animated noxter and the romulan vessels.
all borg vessels have been redone as have most of the federation models (galaxy, saber..) and various special effects, which costed additional time.
The first non player species are partly done (a few breen vessels and stations and the 8472 bioship), you can expect a first testmap with non player races in beta2, the full npr feature on every map will be released in beta3.
You also will find a few new vessels for the 3 existing races, like the klingon bortas class, which is able to create a destructive artifical ion storm.

I'm sorry but after i had to delay the the beta2 release i won't give a fix release date, to get me into hurry
but if the progress continues right the way, i think the beta2 release isn't that far away

what i am currently doing is to make new textures for the new (updated) galaxy model optec has made Smiley
