not really, cos in a mixed fleet your better off just having most of the fleet doing the same manueveur. anyone who has fleets of the same ship wont have that problem, but having a fleet like that just sucks, cos along comes a fleet which has your ships weakness & POW back to the drawing board lol

huh  then there was no point in saying that would take some time then, cos it would affect you. all it would take is the click of a button Wink

Whoa, whats with the 8472?  If you're waiting for them to show up as a race in Fleet Ops, you're gonna be here for a loooong time

fairly obvious that hes talking about the stock game since 1)there are no cardassian either
2)you cant get the ships to do what hes saying in FO. (darting up and down)

Anyone played DS9: Dominion Wars?  Well, anyway, that had some cool attack patterns at just the click of a button; like joust, circle, hit & run, etcetera, and that game was just like armada 2 in tactical view mode (in terms of combat).

I think the FO team is working on somthing like that.  I could be wrong, though.

Of course it might make micromanaging a little harder...

Actually, it would reduce the micromanaging because you won't have to manuever them in combat yourself
