I found it on A2files as well. I was getter tired of the stock A2 and decided to try out some mods. I only looked in the total modification thread and tried all the best mods. And so I stumbled on FO, it was totally different from all the other mods and of course stock A2 and I liked that, I liked that a lot Cheesy
Then I looked up the FO site(it had a different address back then), registered and became very active over here lol Cheesy

I found it on armadafleetcommand site. Was looking for modes, and saw that FO has totaly new rewritten AI. That's what made my attention to it, and I am very glad that it did.  Cheesy

I think I found it in moddb.com.  I was a big Millenium project fan back in the A1 days, and I was looking for a favorite mod for A2.  I found fleet ops and the graphics and music immediately won me over.  I had always hated how half the ships didn't match in the original armada 2 (because they contracted a modder to design them over the internet).  I also liked how FO attempted to reconstruct the gameplay in A2.

The patch which mad doc released tried to correct the problems in the game by giving me hundreds of options to fiddle with, but I could never find a perfect one.  FO really solved this.
