hi,

i have installed the newest version of your mod (fullinstallation) but it doesn't start. it loads 5 seconds (with the banner of fed, rom...) and than it stops and the game didn't start.

sorry for my bad english, i'm a german guy Wink

Hast du bei der Installation den Haken bei einer der Option entfernt?

Also zum Beispiel bei "Additional Files" oder anderen Zusatzoptionen, die scheinbar nichts mit FleetOps zu tun hatten?

Translation:

Did you uncheck any of the options during installation?

For example "additional files" oder another additional option that apparently hasn't do to with FleetOps itself?

Ich habe extra darauf geachtet das jeder Haken bei der Vollinstallation aktiv ist (stand ja auch auf der Website). Gibt es vielleicht eine fleetops.exe die den Fehler beseitigen kann (die die hier für die ältere Version angeboten wird funzt mit der neuen Fleetopsversion nicht)?

Deutsch ist viel angenehmer, danke!

Translation:

I think it's the Fleetops.exe how make a problem like for the earlier Betaversion!
the current fixexe (at the board) doesn't work with the new version (some files for the exe are missing). Is it possible that someone have the new fixexe for the current version?

Also bei mir war das Problem auch, dass direkt nach dem Splash-Screen das Program sich einfach geschlossen hat. Also garnicht erst der Desktop verschwand oder so.

Ist das bei dir anders?

Ansonsten guck mal, dass du hier dein crashlog (in ..\fodata\fotemp\) und das Ergebnis von dxdiag als Anhang reinpostest (dxdiag starten und Ergebnisse als Textfile speichern).

Ich hatte das Problem eben nur, als ich Haken entfernt hatte.
Als ich das danach neu installiert hatte (ohne da was zu ändern), lief es.

Vielleicht hat es bei dir ja einen ganz anderen Grund.

Bei der ersten Installation habe ich schon geschaut ob auch alle Hacken gesetzt sind, bei der 2. Installation habe ich dies 100% überprüft!

Der Fehler, glaub ich, liegt bei mir wo anders und trotzdem hab ich genau die gleichen Sympthome!

ps: in meinem letzten Post findet Ihr die gewünschten Daten und Danke das ihr euch mit meinen Problemen beschäftigt Wink

Translation:

during the 1th installation I had checked all options and it doesen't work. When I reinstalled the mod I had allready checked all options very exactly but it doesn't fix the problem!

I think the Error is different but have the same crashresult!

ps: the datafiles you needed are in my last post and thank's for your helping out!

...nur mal aus interesse, welche verknüpfung benutzt du zum starten, hast du schonmal probiert direkt die fleetops.exe aus dem explorer heraus zu starten?

the loader seems to start up, but cannot launch armada2.tgt . which shortcut are you using. have you tried running fleetops.exe directly from the main directory from windows explorer?

Ich habe die eigentliche exe ausgeführt und alle anderen Verknüpfungen (auf dem Desktop & Startmenü) probiert und alle mit dem gleichen negativen Resultat!

Ich habe mal die Armade.exe (tgt in exe umbenannt) ausgeführt, dort schreibt sie das mir die Win2kDisableTaskSwitch.dll zum ausführen fehlt?!

I could solve the problem now. Thx Silverbreaker for your report.

I found a bug in the loader code, but it's now fixed and working probably. We are currently preparing a patch, that will be released in the next few days including a fix for Silverbreakers issue and others that were and will be reported here in the forums.
