I got a question for the developers.
If you're going to make v4 will you make it for Legacy (if it's moddble) or still for Armada 2.
It really doesn't matter for me, but I was just wondering.
Anyways it's a great mod, thanks for it.

I would guess A2, since they made all the models for A2 and they've done a ton of other work on it too :S
Also we dont really know to what extent Legacy will be moddable Smiley

Khmmm I dont know if Legacy will be able to continue the Armada series. Its just not an RTS and there ARE a lot of ST RTS fans out there- including me. So I'll be looking at FO to deliver what the gaming industry hasnt Wink

Legacy is more like SFC3 what I've seen so far.  So FleetOps will be the only classic RTS game out there. Depends on how good Legacy is...and even if it's a fantastic game FleetOps V3 will be one of the most played mods in lobby. I also guess that FleetOps will pwn the original... (it's not a guess  Wink  ). I call FleetOps the CounterStrike of Armada 2.

Yeah I don't think Legacy is anything like A2 at all.  Just another stupid poorly done space combat game.  The last one they even did remotely well was Klingon Academy, so all we can really hope is that they knock that game off.

So to answer your question, it would be both pointless and impossible to port FO to Legacy.
