Alright, I am gonna hope all of you are pro trek in a wars vs trek debate

anywho, It seems I have gotten myself into quite the bind. Well on another forum atleast, (all alone and such, note to self, never be the only pro trek in a trek vs. Wars debate XD ) anywho, I was looking to do a technilogical breakdown of the cannon (no EU no Video Games, no books or manuals just the cannon or visual evidence) I am basically going on two theories,
That Wars ships are slow, unmanuverable, and powerless, and that the deaths stars power can be explained,
This is basically what i have so far
Wars,
Ships show no visual evidence on the capital level of manuverability, and the Star wars Galaxy has never been sized, meaning the word Fringe worlds could mean anything, I mean look at Trek, the Maquis are considered on the fringe. Anyway I am tryingt to come up with a debunk for the "amazing speed" of hyperspace, It just doesn't seem to be all that fast, I don't know anyone?
Also on firepower, Have you ever seen a star destroyer actually do massive damage? I mean seriously how many times did they fire on the ship in A new hope and that didn't even destroy it. How we have only seen them take on fighters, and that they are short range (just look at AOTS and how close they were)
That sensors are lower,
You get the gist, I have some sound logic behind all this, I just need some help writing it all out, anyone interested?
