Hmm, ok then, i see you're right. Been a while since i bothered with modular stations. Probably Armada 1 days (i studied the NX-complex etc back then). Bloody A2 coding :-( Never said i was any good anyway :-P
Sure i've seen it somewhere though, but meh, ain't important.

right i no in A1 it is possible as u can download a NX base for the feds that has shipyards that build ships, research stations that research like normal and weapon turrets and im sure that mod wks in A2 but i cnt remember if i tried it or not

its a kool idea but if the main node gets destroyed then boom goes ur base

yeah we know that, thats the main reason it is not wanted.

unless these things can be built on seperately by construction ships & be self-sustaining (i.e they dont blow up with the main node) it really isn't worth implementing this, as too many people would moan how they were beaten by AI easy cos it blew up there main node   .

yep, thats right. that's what i don't like of the beta2 transwarp hub, too.

Within the new possibilities of v3 and beyond we are pretty sure to implement playable modular content, although it will be a little different from the way we used in beta2.  cheesy
