go onto "my controls",  then along the side click "edit profile info"  at the top it will say "custom member title" and have a box for you to type in next to it  Smiley

wierd  huh   it should be directly above the date of birth field.
perhaps its cos your rank is still only "member", i didn't change mine untill i was a "fleetops junky" with about 5 squares i think. to change it you may have to increase in your ranking slightly.

to get your rank up you just have to post... but plz dont spam to get it up. no seriously plz dont

Ah, that's fine. I was just wondering. I don't have much to change it to anyway.

I can change mine so if you get up to my rank (which starts around 100 I think) then you will be able to change it. It is a feature of invision forums that different ranks have different permissions so you can make a person at such a rank have more abilitys than some others (an incitement to get people to post more)

er well some ranks can have different size settings for signictures all that sort of thing. To be honest a forum gets posted on cause people think it is worth posting in not because there is anything specail about reaching a certain rank.  While some people think wow he has a high post count he must be important the fact is that no matter how much you post you are still a n00b if you act like one.

How true. I've had to contend with a lot of 'em on one of my other boards (I'm a mod there, so that's really a reason why I'm not posting like a n00b)

well I am an admin on three different forums, but admins act like n00bs as well, I mean they have the power of arrogence and ego to boost there n00bishness, indeed I know admins worse than people who deliberatly go to forums to cause trouble (why you all looking at me Smiley)
