hm.. then its prolly cause of the fact that the game has a directx7/8 path.. but.. if the newer games keep it at a directx9 path (and thats how it will be cause of evolution of the hardware  ) for all the fancy stuff n eyecandy.. then ull prolly need to upgrade at least the ram and gfx card. |

yep i know i'll have to some day, but its getting the funds to get something worthwhile. (i.e. something that aint gonna be made obsolete 5 mins after you unpack it at home)
BTW i have DirectX 9c and CoD 2 runs fine even when things start to get hectic, and you start lobbing smoke grenades everywhere.
min requirements of CoD2 (from reading the case)
DirectX9c
1.4Ghz
256Mb (512 recommended)
100% DX 9c compatible sound card

Heh, by this time next year I should have 15 AMD FX I think 57 2 GB Ram 1 GB Nvidia Gforce 7800 (2x512mb) etc. Anywho, I hope I can run it by the way, You don't think the fleetops guys would mind if I mass installed their game. |

LOl to be honest with all games at the moment u Really do not need anything past
AMD Athlon BArton 2600+
1024mb Ram
80GB UDMA 6 HDD
Radeon 9600PRO
like if u really want to push the boundaries then get say a 6800 but to be honest games just dont use the power
like why the **** would u buy an Athlon FX 57 its like ur NEVEr going to use the processin power ever and with COnroe on the way its gonna put it to shame and im an AMD fanboy so **** INTel is gonna kick the **** outta AMD in July
as for the £300 Graphic cards there is just no need like right now i heard of someone who sold a 7800GTX to by a 7950 and u just think Why ??
its not exactly more than a maximum of 10fps difference and to top it off what really gets me is why buy 2 7800 on SLI ur never gonna use it LOL
the card i think that will shine at the moment though and value for money is the
7600GST its gonna be a good price and give u decent performance as for processor wait till COnroe arrives

@ cod: Call of duty 2 has a special option to use a directx 7/8 renderer instead of the new directX9 renderer and all the Shader 3.0 stuff;
A other sarcastical comment:
i bet 5 bucks that maddoc will screw this game
oh what are those cylinders at the hull of the tactical cube? and they don't use the original weapon sounds so far. hmm let's say 25 buck!

man i hope that the game has low options couse i ahve a laptop with low end vidio, thats why i cant play Hit Man Blood money. i wanst able to wacth the full trailer, doe the game have the far out view like A2 dose? |

Come on yous, they are in a aphla game right now so stop with this, they are still testing things, all those videos from the game are from Aphla beta tests, the game is not fully finished yet so i would just sit back and enjoy the wait playing FO!  |
