Wow!  We have someone at the forums that is willing to say that he liked Ent!  Now he will be the object of shame and ridicule for generations! ...er, I hope it doesn't get that bad.

**** yeah Enterprise was good there was nothing wrong with it people say cannon issues there were none

1, why were the screens and tech better looking than on tos

Answer - ever watch futures end in voyager that clears that up?

2, the ferengi

answer - the name was never mentioned

3, why the Nx was never mentioned

answer - it wasnt a federation vessel

need i go on? there were no cannon issues with the show people just hated it to go with the status quo

I liked Ent too... but only to an extent... the first few seasons I didn't much care for... the Xindii arch was good but streched too long... and I didn't become real impressed until Season 4!  Manny Cotto ALL THE WAY!  I would agree with Red Shirt that all the stuff Braga came out with for ENT was crap... I thought they were too weak and left too many unanswered questions...

My belief is that if Manny Cotto would have replaced Braga during season one... there would not be nearly as much controversy over Enterprise.  Sadly Cotto wasn't able to shine soon enough and ENT died... plus the entire disaster of the last episode.  That episode was an interesting concept but Braga and Berman killed it... it was like they threw it in a bathtub and pushed a hairdryer in with it... eww messy...

But also, I have to agree with 4 of 11 a little bit... there were many instances in which the show covered their tracks in visiting species we weren't suppose to meet until later generations and etc.

Ent had it's good times... but mostly bad (like 2 and a quarter seasons worth)

I was planning on getting togather a list of the things that ENT did the best on and the worst on and posting it here, but it looks like I may have to post it on the FOSF forums...

the best thing in the whole ENT show was the plot with doctor sung i think. at least in my opinion. i was surprised and amazed at the same time to see brent spiner on the screen again, playing a serious star trek character. Smiley

i lliked enterprise a lot.  it is the best star trek series ever made and could have gone on for another 3-6 seasons without becoming boring.  after all it still had the birth of the federation, romulan war, orion pirates, boomers, earth colonys, section 31, and so much more left to explore.

however i will admit that the following episodes sucked:
Unexpected
Terra Nova
Rogue Planet
Aquisition
Oasis
Precious Cargo
Bounty
Extinction
Daedalus

in futures end, a 29th century person goes back in time to destroy voyager..
voyager does some technobabble magic and gets pulled into a time disruption thingy back into the 20th centruy (i think 20th, but i probably wrong). when there, one of the people finds the crashed 29th century ship, utilizes the cool gizmos and gadgets, and makes a company that makes technology (like microsoft, or ATI, or NVidea) . the guy periodically releases a new thing every so often, and makes alot of money. somehow voyager stops him and everything gets back to normal....except for the technology that was already released into the past (IE the moderner looking viewscreens in ENT)

yeah but dont forget that the technology that was used to make TOS is far less advanced than what is available now. back then the closest to a fleet battle you would've got was to model ships suspended on strings. now you got all of this special FX going on, although it looks far superior the stories now just seem to pale in comparision to what was back then.
