I would try to become an artist (to improve myself, as Picard stated so often).

As on the 24th century Earth, you don't work to earn a living but to improve yourself, there would be no need to sell my work for living. No cruel company pushing me because of dead-lines. Wink

I wouldn't have to bother whether being an artist pays off.
Sounds selfish, but perhaps I could get good enough so that others would enjoy my work.

And I would love to travel around, looking for untouched nature, enjoying the power of creation...

The only explanation they give is that they "have grown beyond that".

gold presed latinum for trading out side of the federation. the federation just have somesort of monetary system other wise how would they trade with others. the federation would simply crumble.
