Guns dont kill people they just make it easier
any way the good old fashioned CC weapons (swords, kama, si, nunchackers, nagenarta, staff, tonfa, etc) are the best types of weapons (cheaper more accurate and can be used by any1 hu has arms efficiantly) wereas guns require a good sight altho in my perfessional opinion guns are used by cowards who cant face there victim headon

er guns are by far easier to use. trust me, i would be one to know. someone who has not been taught how to wield a katana, or nunchucku properly, are just as much of a danger to themselves, as to those around them.

Yeah, guns are a far greater asset to militaries and normal people than swords and such because they take far less training to utilize properly. Like a crossbow, sort of. The longbow takes years of training to use well, but the crossbow could pierce armor and simply required being able to aim the front end at the target (well, maybe a bit more complicated, but that's the general idea).

At any rate, it's a complicated issue because it's very difficult to know what kind of person is selling and purchasing the weapons. Guns ususally don't kill people by themselves (maybe if it drops on the ground and goes off), but since there are so many it's near impossible to regulate who gets a gun. Just because you have  license for a weapon doesn't mean you should be trusted with one amongst the general public (other factors contribute to that). Then, of course, there's robberies to obtain those same weapons which are uncontrollable to the extreme degree. And, of course, kids who shoot each other or accidently kill when playing.

Morale: Stick to video games. Much healthier as long as you don't get strangled in wires.

It's funnier.

Regulating guns is hard to control like you said 8_of_11, but do you really think that by eliminating the legitimate sources of firearms that you will make the world that much safer?

Most guns that kill people are either illegal imports and/or stolen.

More crimes are prevented by a citizen pulling thier concealed carry pistol on a burglar than there are deaths caused by guns.

It comes down to wether you trust the police to come and save your butt every instance you need help or if you want to be ready for the situations yourself.

I will be ready.

yo dirty harry i've got ur avatar as my mobile fone wallpaper! i agree with ur statement, be ready or trust the pigs, they'll be too busy pulling cars off the road for kicks to save my life, however instead of a gun i would prefer to use a baseball bat. does anyone object to phasers in star trek or does the stun mode keep it safe?

Well most of those guns you speek of where quiered ligal at the start in the USA whare is so easy to get a gun evin a 7y old kid can do it.

Thare is no lagical argumennt to haveing guns in the junral pop uther than law inforsment by profeshanls and hunting under stricked rules and gide lines.

Guns would not still be in the conition if it was not for the NRA and thare lobists.

I think ower politacl sytom needs to be updated from the 19th to the 21th centchery.

People/corpations have ben abusing ower goverment for to long.

Thare are better things to collect and play with uther than WMD - lorg fier arms.

Yes people will argue its freedom of speech but the last time I heard you dont tolk with a gun.

personally i think guns should be outlawed when nobody uses them, otherwise the criminals will still be armed while normal law abiding folks get slaughtered during crimes. and even if you destroy all the guns on the planet, and noone can make one, people will still find ways to kill each other. This has been said too many times already, but it should be said again.
