Hi,

when I want to install Fleet Ops Beta 2 it says :

Preparing files...
Extract: main.7z
Create folder: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Philipp Malina\Desktop\Neuer Ordner (3)\FOData
Output folder: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Philipp Malina\Desktop\Neuer Ordner (3)\FOData
Extract: c.ac... 100%
Extract: FOData.ini... 100%
Output folder: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Philipp Malina\Desktop\Neuer Ordner (3)\FOData
Preparing Base Files...
C:\DOKUME~1\PHILIP~1\Desktop\NEUERO~3\Armada.pal

and then the installation stops, waht can I do? Thank you for your help.

Phil

There seems to be a problem for people using XP. Both the installer and the launch of the game (by fleetops.exe) create temporary processes using the naming convention ns###.tmp (where ### are seemingly random hex values).

These processes use a little bit of memory, then none. Killing them through task manager makes things better (the installer continues, the game runs). My conclusion is that they simply fail to terminate for some reason. Running the installer or game in compatibility mode does nothing.
