Hey everyone, im new to these forums so i wont spoil you all with a boring introduction so lets cut to it....

Since i discovered Fleet Ops, i was immediately captivated by how interesting and different it was.

I installed the game and there were no problems there. I initiated an Instant action game...then boom, crash! Armada crashed after about 5 seconds of gameplay. Sometime the computer will freeze totally and i'd be forced to restart the machine, on other occasions the game crashes and goes to window mode giving me the send error report message stating that the game has crashed. Armada 1 & 2 standard run on my machine fine, but for some reason not with this mod.

Using the Fleet Ops startup feature, i made the game run under window mode. It seemed to work better...the instant action feature runs for a few mins but will crash after i get a few stations up.  So basically, fullscreen mode the game crashes almost straight into gameplay. Window mode, it lasts a little bit longer and at least gives me time to press a few buttons etc.

Ive tried a million different things with the game settings (res, changing sound card) but nothing has worked.

Could someone PLEASE help me because im soo eager to play this great looking mod.

Version of Mod: Latest, Beta 2 with update patch.

PC:
AthlonXP 2600+
MSI Motherboard
512 DDR400 Corsair RAM
GeForceFX 5600 Ultra 128mb Video Card....

I also dont know what could be the problem, try upgrading your directx and graphic card drivers. If that doesnt work just reinstall the game
Other than that I dont know what else you could do than to wait for a reply from the dev team.


Oh and welcome to the forums

Ive updated my video card drivers and there didnt appear to be much difference so i have no idea what to do. Its probably something small but ANY help would be great.
